Every line above is on the written estimate for your cabinet painting & refinishing job.
Degrease, sand, bond-prime
Kitchen cabinets carry years of cooking grease that no paint will stick to. Every surface is degreased, scuff-sanded and coated with a bonding primer chosen for the substrate — maple, oak, thermofoil and laminate all behave differently, and they do not all get the same primer.
Sprayed, not brushed
Doors and drawer fronts come off, get labeled and are sprayed flat so the finish lays down with no brush marks and no roller stipple. Boxes and face frames are sprayed in place behind plastic containment with the rest of your kitchen sealed off.
Worth a look before you commit to anyone.
Cured before it goes back on
The coatings we use for cabinets are hard enough for daily kitchen use, but they need time to cure. Doors go back on the schedule the finish requires, not the schedule that gets us out the door fastest — and you get the cure-time instructions in writing.

What it costs
Anybody who gives you a price for cabinet painting & refinishing over the phone, sight unseen, is guessing — and the guess is usually low so they can raise it later. The three things that actually move the number are the size of the job, the condition of what is already there, and how much repair work is hiding under the surface.
So we come look. The visit is free, it takes about thirty minutes, and you get an itemized written estimate with a fixed price you can hold us to. If a comparison quote comes in lower, bring it to us — we will tell you honestly what is missing from it.
Thirty minutes on site is all it takes to give you a fixed number.
